My name is Cathy and my daughter is Ginny, we are The Stitchin Mamas. We are located in the heart of Robertson County, Tennessee. We began piecing quilts about 10 years ago. Our little hobby, turned into a local small business. I have been doing my own quilting since 2022 and in my home since 2024, when I purchased my own longarm machine. We love piecing quilts and being able to finish them in house. We are a smoke free home and have a small dog that is hypoallergenic that is here part time.

I worked for Corporate America for 32 years (2 jobs) and was severed both times. It was time for a change and to do something different. I am passionate about what I do and I want to provide the BEST customer experience for you. I have been fortunate to finish some very old quilt tops and meet some amazing people. I love the old fabric is these heirlooms and the stories behind them. Every quilt has a story! We appreciate your business and your friendship. Thank you for visiting our page. Hey there. Ginny here, aka the “Lil Mama” as my mother introduces me to people. I’m happy to be on this small business journey with my talented mother and best friend. I’ve been working in healthcare for about 14 years and currently work full time as a family nurse practitioner in our community. I have always loved crafts and being creative. My grandmother taught me how to knit at a young age and my other grandmother was teaching me a little about sewing before she passed away.

I made my first quilt when I was in high school and began teaching myself again a little over 10 years ago. My mother quickly started quilting again and it became one of the many hobbies that we share. My mother makes fun of my love for pre-cuts and well coordinated quilts, while she loves a good ole’ scrappy quilt. When I’m not busy caring for my community; I enjoy spending time with my silly son, going to watch Sounds baseball, reading, quilting (obviously), painting, knitting, crochet and trying new designs on the embroidery or cricut machines. -Ginny‍ ‍
